me..I'm Peter Steehouwer live in the Netherlands Europe, Since 1975 I take pictures of airplanes the first 2 years at Soesterberg AFB nearby the city of Utrecht The Netherlands. Since 1978 (32 years ago) I visit airshows, military exercises, and other aviation events in the: United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Replublic, Poland, Malta, United Arab Emirates, Russia (Moscow, Zhukovsky) and United States (California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, Arizona, Florida and New Mexico). Also some US Navy carriers: USS Nimitz CVN-68 in the Persian Gulf (a visit in June 2003 and May 2007), and USS Constellation CV-64 in San Francisco CA, USA At airshows I photograph the airplanes for 99% in action (some times ground/static pictures) and most pictures are taken from ground (tower, mountain, step-ladder, car, etc.. etc..) I started in 1997 with my website : 'Airshow Action Photo Gallery' www.steehouwer.com you can find here a lot of pictures , 561 web pages (18.207 pictures..) Total now more than 8.000.000 (8 million !!!...) pageviews/visitors since '97.
