me..I'm Peter Steehouwer live in the Netherlands Europe, Since 1975 I take pictures of airplanes the first 2 years at Soesterberg AFB nearby the city of Utrecht The Netherlands. Since 1978 (30 years ago) I visit airshows, military exercises, and other aviation events in the: United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Replublic, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Russia (Moscow, Zhukovsky) and United States (California, Nevada, Utah, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico), also some US Navy carriers: USS Nimitz CVN-68 in the Persian Gulf (a visit in June 2003 and May 2007), and USS Constellation CV-64 in San Francisco CA, USA I started in 1997 with my website : 'Airshow Action Photo Gallery' www.steehouwer.com you can find here a lot of pictures , 448 web pages (14.302 pictures..) that I took last years, total now more than 6.000.000 (6 million !!!...) pageviews/visitors since '97. At airshows I photograph the airplanes for 99% in action (some times ground/static pictures) and most pictures are taken from ground (tower, mountain, step-ladder, car, etc.. etc..) No "Flash" or other "hightech" animations (or start intro's) , but "simple" HTML website design, to "publish/view" my pictures..
